Part of the Universal Relays series, General Electric Multilin’s UR-8LM is a CT/VT module that offers the relay standard 4CT/4VT with enhanced diagnostics. The module’s enhanced diagnostics ensure the integrity of analog signals by employing a complex algorithm, guaranteeing reliable and efficient operation. The enhanced diagnostics version of the module can also automatically detect module hardware failure and trigger a trip that removes the relay from service until the problem is resolved.

Just like the Universal Relay series itself, the UR-8LV is highly customizable when editing system settings through the keypad and LCD or EnerVista software program. Editing of system settings is much more efficient through the EnerVista program as opposed to the LCD due to the vastly superior user interface that EnerVista supplies.

EnerVista UR is General Electric Multilin’s industry-leading software that connects directly to the relay through the RS232 port or digitally through the relay’s Ethernet capabilities EnerVista UR provides a streamlined interface and a suite of tools for working with the relay, such as the Viewpoint UR Engineer, EnerVista Integrator, and EnerVista Launchpad. The Viewpoint UR Engineer, for example, provides a drag and drop environment to more easily configure and test the GE relay.
