The 560PSU02 power supply unit is designed to generate two supply voltages (5 V DC and 24 V DC) for the RTU560 subracks (560MPR03 and 560SFR02). It provides sufficient output power to support up to 8 communication units (CMUs) in a subrack. The power supply unit can be configured for redundant operation to meet higher availability requirements by running two units in parallel mode. In case one power supply fails, the other can take over the full load. It is important to use power supplies of the same type and rubric for redundant configurations.
