Long Description:
The TVOC-2 Arc Guard System is an arc protection relay designed to mitigate arc faults and protect both personnel and equipment. The arc monitor serves as the main unit of the system, detecting arc light and sending an electrical signal via fast IGBT contacts within 1 ms to a nearby breaker. This action interrupts power and extinguishes the arc.
The arc monitor supports 10 detector inputs and can trip up to three breakers with zone selectivity. Up to 2 extension units increase the number of light detectors to 30. The system includes an HMI that can be mounted outside the switchgear door. Detectors are available in various lengths to suit full switchgear designs.
