The MS116-0.4 manual motor starter (also known as a motor protection circuit breaker or manual motor protector) is a compact 45 mm-wide device with a rated operational current of Ie = 0.40 A.
It is used to manually switch motors on and off and to protect them—without the need for a fuse—against short-circuits, overload, and phase failures.
The device offers a rated service short-circuit breaking capacity (Ics) of 50 kA at 400 VAC and a trip class of 10A.
Additional features include a built-in disconnect function, temperature compensation, trip-free mechanism, and a rotary handle with clear switch position indication.
The motor starter is suitable for both three-phase and single-phase applications.
Accessories such as auxiliary contacts, signaling contacts, undervoltage releases, shunt trips, 3-phase busbars, power in-feed blocks, and locking devices for protection against unauthorized adjustments are available.
