Product Description
The 16925-17 is a 17-foot (5.2-meter) precision interconnect cable from Bently Nevada, engineered for high-fidelity vibration and seismic signal transmission. Designed to connect 330400 and 330425 Accelerometers or 3-wire seismic transmitters to monitoring systems, this cable features a non-armored 3-conductor shielded design, ensuring excellent flexibility while protecting against electrical noise. Its intermediate length is ideal when a 10-foot cable is too short and a 25-foot cable would create excess slack.
Key Features
-
Intermediate 17-Foot Length: Perfect for sensors located within ~5 meters of monitoring racks or junction boxes
-
Superior Signal Integrity: 22 AWG shielded conductors minimize EMI/RFI, preserving the accuracy of low-voltage vibration signals
-
Flexible Non-Armored Jacket: PVC/Polyurethane construction allows tight bend radius for routing through conduit or cabinets
-
Standard Industrial Termination: 3-socket MIL-C-5015 plug for moisture-resistant sensor connection and terminal lugs for system integration

Technical FAQ
Q: Is this cable suitable for outdoor use?
A: Yes, it is rated for -40°C to +85°C; however, being non-armored, it should be installed inside conduit or trays if exposed to sunlight, harsh weather, or potential mechanical impact.
Q: Can this cable be used with a 177230 Seismic Transmitter?
A: Yes. The 16925 series supports Bently Nevada’s 3-wire seismic transmitters and sensors with a 3-pin MIL-style connection.
