A Strategic Response to Rising Complexity
Schneider Electric has officially launched SE Advisory Services, a dedicated global consulting practice designed to empower organizations facing interconnected energy, sustainability, and technology challenges. With global electricity demand surging, decarbonization pressures mounting, and supply chains growing more intricate, businesses need more than isolated solutions—they require integrated, actionable strategies. SE Advisory Services consolidates Schneider’s deep expertise in electrification, automation, and digitalization into a single, cohesive offering that guides clients from vision to execution.
Leadership Vision: Clarity in Uncertain Times

Frédéric Godemel, Executive Vice President of Energy Management at Schneider Electric, underscores the urgency: “Times of uncertainty require one thing above all—clarity and knowledge of what you can control. We’ve unified our world-class consulting capabilities to help clients move faster, with greater confidence, and unlock solutions to their most pressing energy, sustainability, and technology challenges.” This launch marks a pivotal evolution, transforming Schneider from a technology provider into a strategic partner for enterprise-wide transformation.
Four Pillars of Transformation
SE Advisory Services operates across four interconnected domains, delivering holistic impact at both enterprise and site levels:
-
Sustainable Business & Industrial Transformation – Guides decarbonization, process electrification, renewable integration, circular economy models, and nature-based solutions.
-
Risk Management & Resilience – Shields operations from energy price volatility, cyber threats, climate risks, and system disruptions.
-
Resource & Asset Performance – Optimizes asset reliability, minimizes waste, and frees capital for growth initiatives.
-
Intelligent Software – Deploys AI-native platforms to connect workflows, generate predictive insights, and drive real-time decisions.
Beyond Advice: End-to-End Implementation
Unlike traditional consulting, SE Advisory Services goes further—integrating strategy with software deployment and project execution. At its core are proprietary AI-embedded tools that turn data into automated actions. Gwenaelle Avice Huet, EVP of Industrial Automation, explains: “Energy, technology, and software are now inseparable. Our approach identifies high-leverage transformation drivers—accelerating electrification, strengthening automation, embedding digitalization, and fortifying cybersecurity—to build resilient, future-ready operations.”
Proven Leadership at the Helm
The practice is led by Steve Wilhite, Executive Vice President of SE Advisory Services. A seasoned energy and sustainability expert, Wilhite joined Schneider via the 2011 acquisition of Summit Energy, where he served as President and CEO. Most recently, he spearheaded Schneider’s Sustainability Business division. In his launch statement, Wilhite declared: “We’re mobilizing thousands of global consultants and technical specialists, backed by AI-native software, to deliver an unmatched end-to-end advisory model—one that strengthens performance, mitigates risk, and builds lasting resilience.”
