Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Green Hydrogen Innovation
A major highlight of the summit was Honeywell’s strategic collaboration with Shanghai Zhouyu New Energy Co., Ltd. The partnership focuses on the compatibility of catalyst-coated membrane (CCM) technology in anion exchange membrane (AEM) electrolyzers, paving the way for scalable green hydrogen production. This alliance is expected to advance hydrogen technology efficiency and drive industrial applications closer to commercial viability.
Advancing Sustainable Aviation Fuel in China
Honeywell also announced a strategic agreement with Zhongke Yicarbon Energy Technology (Dalian) Co., Ltd. to jointly promote sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) development. The collaboration supports the construction of a 100,000-ton ethanol-to-SAF project in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province. This project exemplifies Honeywell’s commitment to helping China achieve its carbon neutrality goals through clean energy innovation.
