Honeywell Marks 90 Years in China with Strong Presence at the 8th CIIE
At the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), Honeywell reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the Chinese market. As one of the “all-time participants” of the event, Honeywell showcased eight new products and over a hundred innovative solutions spanning multiple industrial sectors. According to Yu Feng, President of Honeywell China, the company’s dedication to the CIIE “has never waned,” reflecting its vision to support China’s modernization and sustainable development.
A Legacy of 90 Years: From Shanghai Beginnings to National Impact
Honeywell’s journey in China began in 1935, when it established its first distribution office in Shanghai. Over nine decades, the company has evolved from an early market participant to a key technology partner driving industrial modernization, automation, and sustainability across China. This milestone year marks a renewed commitment to innovation and collaboration in the local market.
Expanding Scale and Innovation: 10× Growth in CIIE Footprint
Since its first appearance at the CIIE, Honeywell’s exhibition area has expanded tenfold. The company’s 2025 showcase features cutting-edge innovations in semiconductors, industrial combustion, automation, intelligent buildings, and battery safety. Notably, the ThermJet-pro Low-NOx Burner made its China debut, while integrated automation systems such as CCC Inside and Experion® PKS demonstrated advancements in smart industrial operations.
Focusing on Automation, Sustainability, and Future Aviation
This year’s exhibition centers around three strategic themes—automation, sustainability, and future aviation. Honeywell presented over 100 products and solutions that span automatic identification, smart sensing, ship automation, and building management systems. For industries such as hospitality, healthcare, and high-end manufacturing, Honeywell introduced unified hardware-software platforms enabling intelligent and efficient operations.
Forging 26 Strategic Partnerships Across Key Industries
During the CIIE, Honeywell signed 26 strategic cooperation agreements with partners from manufacturing, construction, energy, transportation, and life sciences. These collaborations focus on intelligent factories, green energy, smart retail, and advanced materials, reinforcing Honeywell’s role as a driver of cross-industry digital transformation in China.
Deepening Local Innovation for China’s Future
Yu Feng emphasized Honeywell’s ongoing strategy of “In China, For China.” The company plans to continue investing in local R&D, focusing on automation, sustainability, and digital management technologies tailored to Chinese market needs. By leveraging the CIIE as a global platform, Honeywell aims to connect domestic innovation with international technology, supporting mutual growth and technological exchange.
