Product Description
The GE Fanuc IC660BRD020 I/O block is a 24 and 48 Volts DC rated discrete I/O source block. There are 16 I/O circuits on the IC660BRD020 I/O block which are used to provide current to the field output devices. The IC660BRD020 I/O block is designed for use with electromechanical sensors and solid-state sensors. The dimensions of the IC660BRD020 I/O block are 8.83 x 3.56 x 4.42 inches. The approximate block weight is 1.8 kilograms. The LEDs provided for displaying the block's operating status include the “Unit OK” status LED and an “I/O Enabled” status LED. Furthermore, a single LED is also provided for displaying the status of each individual circuit. The block to block isolation voltage rating is 1500 Volts. When all 16 outputs are on and are drawing 2 Amps of current, the heat dissipation of the module is 91.5 Watts.
The IC660BRD020 I/O block has 16 discrete circuits and each one can be configured as an input, a tristate input, or as an output. The output circuits can be directly connected to input circuits without the inversion of the logic states or the use of other components. The operating voltage for the IC660BRD020 I/O block is 18 to 56 Volts DC for 24 and 48 Volts DC operation and it is 18 to 30 Volts DC for 24 Volts DC operation. The maximum rated ripple is 10%. The typical DC power required by the IC660BRD020 I/O block is 150 milliamps and the maximum power required is 300 milliamps. The rated power supply dropout time is 10 milliseconds. Any handheld monitor (HHM) can be used with the IC660BRD020 I/O block.
